Our hotel lies in the centre of the market town of Haus im Ennstal, a charming little place that welcomes its guests with open arms.
The rural character of the community with its peaceful lanes and original buildings dating as far back as the 15th century is enriched by some more modern architectural designs and elements.
Walking through Haus im Ennstal our guests always come across new places of interest, both greater and smaller.
Hauser Kaibling – a woolly local mountain
Haus im Ennstal lies at the foot of the Hauser Kaibling, a mountain that provides the loveliest ski slopes in winter, and in summer makes for idyllic hikes with breathtaking mountain views. Over 800 sheep, along with their shepherd and sheepdogs, spend the summer months on the meadows (the ski slopes in winter). This “ecological meadow care” is a great sight.
In the centre of Schladming/Dachstein – a region well worth visiting
The central location of Haus im Ennstal makes it the ideal starting point for trips around the area. The World Cup town of Schladming is about 6km away and can be reached within minutes.
The Dachstein is the highest mountain in Styria and offers a breathtaking observation platform, the “Skywalk”, and the “Eispalast” (an ice palace).
The cable car ride is free for all Sommercard holders.
