Hiking holidays at the Kinderhotel / family hotel in Styria ...

On 5 days a week we set off on guided hikes in the company of our professional hiking guide, Barbara. Starting point is our family hotel, situated 800m above sea level. She knows the most beautiful places in the mountains, the quaintest alpine pastures, the most romantic mountain lakes, the most impressive panoramic views and, above all, she knows which tours are suitable for our guests.

For us, a successful family summer, autumn or spring holiday is marked by joint activities for the whole family and free time for each individual.
That’s why we offer programmes for all the family every day, for parents only and for children only!

Our hikes are designed as family hikes, a thrill for parents and children alike. For the more sporty guests our hiking guide Barbara always offers to extend the tour or to go on a via ferrata – as certified via ferrata guide Barbara also supervises these excursions professionally.

Children and non-hikers always have an especially good and active time during the extended tours: they have fun exploring, playing and eating by the bonfire. Our routes are designed so that the families meet up and go back to the hotel together, where they are still free to take part in our sports programme, if they so wish.

Children also like to go hiking alone with the nursery school teachers, or to stay behind and have fun at the children’s club, if the parents have planned a trip for themselves or want to spend time on their own.
